Sunny days are relished in Seattle. It is a wonderful reprieve from rain and overcast skies. So, on a whim, I decided to pack up my gear, go on a little road trip and explore the surroundings. Jeff & Penny Vinik host an art competition called Celebration Of The Arts before the start of hockey season. I have become a finalist for the second year in a row during the Fourth Annual event and "Filppula In Blue," placed in 4th overall. I couldn't believe my eyes!! While waiting in-between periods during the New Jersey Devils vs Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game, these came popped on the jumbotron.
