The owners of the hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, are wonderful supporters of local art. Jeff & Penny Vinik host an art competition called Celebration Of The Arts before the start of hockey season. I have become a finalist for the second year in a row during the Fourth Annual event and "Filppula In Blue," placed in 4th overall. It will be exhibited near IOA Suite 44 during the 2015-16 hockey season. I am honored that my artwork was judged and chosen by art professionals from the Tampa Museum of Art, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Ringing Museum, the Dali Museum and the Vinik's. I will share the walls of the Amalie Arena, once again, with other wonderful artists.
